Miki is full of fun, wiggles, and personality — but he’s just as happy to settle in for cuddles when the excitement winds down. He’s incredibly sweet, affectionate, and brings a cheerful spark everywhere he goes.

When Miki was rescued, he had an injury above one eye. We don’t know what happened before he came to us, but the wound has healed beautifully and is now growing new hair. It doesn’t affect him at all — if anything, it just adds to his story and his charm.

He does great with dogs his size, and we’re still learning how he feels about cats. With his gentle nature and eagerness to bond, he’s ready to be someone’s loyal, loving little companion.

She’s sweet, affectionate, and warms up quickly to the adult humans (she is not fond of children) she meets . Once she trusts you, she’s all in — cuddles, kisses, and companionship included.

Cheyenne enjoys the company of some dogs her size, but she can be a bit selective, so a meet‑and‑greet is a must. Because she prefers a calmer environment, she’d do best in a home without children under 14.

Probably because she has never had attention and would prefer to have all of the attention to herself. And we’re not sure how she feels about cats just yet, but we’re happy to explore that with potential adopters. Clawdeen was found on a lonely country road, doing everything she could to keep her puppies alive. She gave them every ounce of herself—literally. She’s heartbreakingly thin right now and not quite ready for adoption, but she’s safe, loved, and slowly gaining strength.

Despite everything she’s been through, Clawdeen is pure sweetness. She’s playful, gentle with every person she has met but has responded reactively to all the dogs she has met. (and we are not sure about cats). Her spirit is strong, her heart is huge, and her eyes tell a story of quiet resilience.

Clawdeen will make an incredible addition to a family who sees her for the queen she is—and treats her like one. For now, she’soaking up all the love she missed out on.

Medical Alert: During routine vetting, Clawdeen tested positive for heartworm. Per Hope’s protocol, she is being treated using the “Slow Method,” which we’ve found to be a much safer and gentler approach. Hope covers the cost of all heartworm medications, follow‑up visits, and testing—as long as treatment is completed through our approved veterinarian.

Now for the honest part: Duncan experienced some kind of trauma earlier in life—possibly being hit by a car—and it left him with permanent incontinence. He can’t control his urine or fecal output, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s otherwise healthy, happy, and living life to the fullest.
