Ghost – Young, Vibrant, and Full of Heart

Don’t let the white “old man” face fool you — Ghost is actually a young, vibrant, and wonderfully sweet boy. He may start off very shy, but once he feels safe with you, his true personality shines. Ghost becomes loving, cuddly, playful, and so eager to be part of your world.

He’s an energetic guy who enjoys fun and movement, but he also loves curling up close once he trusts you. Ghost is good with some dogs his size, though he can be a little nervous at first when meeting them — just like he is with new people. We are not sure about cats.

Meet Suzi Sunshine, an adorable, energetic female toy poodle whose name fits her perfectly. This sweet little girl recently gave birth to two beautiful puppies and was an amazing, attentive mom every step of the way. Her babies are weaned and adopted, and now it’s finally Suzi’s turn to shine.

Suzi is loving, friendly, and cuddly, with a playful personality that makes her a joy to be around. She gets along well with other dogs, especially those close to her size. We’re not sure about cats yet, but we do know she absolutely adores people and warms up quickly.

Carina Est DOB 4/22/2022 Female Poodle Shih Tzu Mix

Meet Carina, a sweet girl who came to us after the commercial breeder she lived in closed down. She never received the care, socialization, or support every dog deserves, but she’s already showing us how much heart she has.

Carina is shy with people, yet she allows gentle handling and will let you pick her up. With patience and kindness, she’s beginning to show curiosity toward the affection she’s getting from our staff and volunteers. Watching her discover that humans can be safe is incredibly rewarding. She is good with other dogs, but we are not totally sure about cats though.

She’ll need gentle guidance as she learns about life in a real home — things like housebreaking, normal household noises, and everyday activities such as a dishwasher running or a TV turned on. With time and reassurance, she’ll blossom.

At the sanctuary, Carina is loving her new freedom and the comfort of being with other dogs. She’s sweet, soft‑natured, and has all the potential to become an amazing family member for someone who understands that progress comes in small, beautiful steps.

For being so young, Jorge is surprisingly well‑mannered, already showing those sweet, gentle habits that make him a joy to be around. He’s playful, cuddly, and just downright adorable, the kind of puppy who melts into your arms and lights up the room with his happy energy.

Meet Charlie, a young and handsome Silky Terrier who is equal parts sweet, loyal, and full of personality. He bonds deeply with his person and will quickly become your little shadow, happily following you from room to room.

Charlie does great with other dogs, and we’re not sure yet how he feels about cats. He loves to play and has a bit of a rough‑and‑tumble style — likely how he was taught to play growing up — but he’s genuinely a sweet boy at heart.

Charlie’s one big challenge is that he does not trust men. He can become reactive toward them, and because of this, he needs a home with no children and adopters who understand his boundaries. With the right person, he is affectionate, devoted, and eager to be close.

Meet Gary, a sweet senior Shih Tzu mix with a heart as soft as his (now beautifully groomed) coat. He is extremely friendly with people, dogs, and other pets — truly one of those dogs who just loves everyone he meets.

Gary is mostly blind, but don’t let that worry you. He gets around surprisingly well, follows your voice, and loves to toddle right behind you like your own little shadow. He’s gentle, loving, and happiest curled up next to you for a good cuddle session.

When Gary was rescued, he was one of the worst matted dogs we’ve ever seen — so matted that one eye was completely sealed shut. We don’t know how long he lived like that, but what we do know is that he never let it dim his spirit. With care, patience, and a fresh start, Gary has blossomed into the sweetest, most grateful little companion.

Meet Kelsie 💛 Kelsie’s story didn’t start the way any dog’s should. Her early life was marked by cruelty and hardship—but she never let that define her. Today, Kelsie is a gentle, loving soul who’s rediscovered joy in belly rubs, playtime, and quiet companionship. She’s sweet, caring, and has a playful spark that lights up when she’s with people she trusts.

She has shown some reactivity to other dogs particularly when the other dog is receiving attention. Probably because she has never had attention and would prefer to have all of the attention to herself. And we’re not sure how she feels about cats just yet, but we’re happy to explore that with potential adopters. What we do know is that Kelsie is ready for a fresh chapter—one filled with love, patience, and the kind of care she’s always deserved.

Meet Clawdeen Wolf Mom to the Monster High litter and a true survivor 💜

Clawdeen was found on a lonely country road, doing everything she could to keep her puppies alive. She gave them every ounce of herself—literally. She’s heartbreakingly thin right now and not quite ready for adoption, but she’s safe, loved, and slowly gaining strength.

Despite everything she’s been through, Clawdeen is pure sweetness. She’s playful, gentle with every person she has met but has responded reactively to all the dogs she has met. (and we are not sure about cats). Her spirit is strong, her heart is huge, and her eyes tell a story of quiet resilience.

Clawdeen will make an incredible addition to a family who sees her for the queen she is—and treats her like one. For now, she’soaking up all the love she missed out on.

Molly is a lovely lady who enjoys leisurely walks and hanging out with her favorite humans. She’s got great leash manners and a gentle spirit that shines through once she feels safe and settled.

She prefers a quieter home—no kids under the age of 15, She is ok with some dogs with the same activity level as her. We’re not sure how she feels about cats, so slow intros would be key if you’ve got a feline roommate.

Molly is super sweet, always happy and ready for a walk or cuddle. She is house broke. She’s past the puppy chaos and ready for a calm, loving home.
