Meso and his siblings first came to us last month after a good Samaritan found them starving and in need of help. Even in those early days, their gentle spirits and resilience caught our eye. Duncan is a young Boston Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger love for toys. He’s shy and reactive at first, but will warm up to his people, He’s very active and totally adorable.

Duncan gets along with some dogs, especially those who respect his space and energy. Because of his reactiveness we do not think he will do well with cats or other animals. He’s happiest when he’s bouncing around with his favorite toy or snuggling up for a nap.

Now for the honest part: Duncan experienced some kind of trauma earlier in life—possibly being hit by a car—and it left him with permanent incontinence. He can’t control his urine or fecal output, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s otherwise healthy, happy, and living life to the fullest.

Duncan’s looking for a special someone who sees past the challenges and recognizes the joy he brings. If you’ve got room in your heart (and maybe a few extra puppy pads), Duncan would love to be your loyal, playful sidekick.
