When Miki was rescued, he had an injury above one eye. We don’t know what happened before he came to us, but the wound has healed beautifully and is now growing new hair. It doesn’t affect him at all — if anything, it just adds to his story and his charm.

He does great with dogs his size, and we’re still learning how he feels about cats. With his gentle nature and eagerness to bond, he’s ready to be someone’s loyal, loving little companion.

Duncan is a young Boston Terrier with a big personality and an even bigger love for toys. He’s shy and reactive at first, but will warm up to his people, He’s very active and totally adorable.

Duncan gets along with some dogs, especially those who respect his space and energy. Because of his reactiveness we do not think he will do well with cats or other animals. He’s happiest when he’s bouncing around with his favorite toy or snuggling up for a nap.

Now for the honest part: Duncan experienced some kind of trauma earlier in life—possibly being hit by a car—and it left him with permanent incontinence. He can’t control his urine or fecal output, but he doesn’t let that slow him down. He’s otherwise healthy, happy, and living life to the fullest.

He is very hand shy, so if you quickly move your hands around him, he will flinch and coward. He is shy and reactive at first but once he trust you.. he is a wonderful boy. He is not great with other dogs as when he gets excited he plays extremely rough and it is hard to get him to redirect. So a home with no other dogs is preferred.
