Medical Alert: During routine vetting, Zaida tested positive for heartworm. Per Hope’s protocol, she is being treated using the “Slow Method,” which we’ve found to be a safe and gentle approach. Hope covers the cost of all heartworm medications, follow‑up visits, and testing until she tests Heartworm negative—as long as treatment is completed through our approved veterinarian.
