Rosa-Adoption Pending

Rosa Est DOB 4/22/2018 Female Schnoodle

Meet Rosa, a sweet girl who came to us after the commercial breeder she lived in closed down. She never received the care, socialization, or support every dog deserves, but she’s already showing us how much heart she has.

Rosa is very shy with people, yet she allows gentle handling and will let you pick her up. With patience and kindness, she’s beginning to show curiosity toward the affection she’s getting from our staff and volunteers. Watching her discover that humans can be safe is incredibly rewarding. She is good with other dogs but we are not totally sure about cats though.

She’ll need gentle guidance as she learns about life in a real home — things like housebreaking, normal household noises, and everyday activities such as a dishwasher running or a TV turned on. With time and reassurance, she’ll blossom.

At the sanctuary, Rosa is loving her new freedom and the comfort of being with other dogs. She’s sweet, soft‑natured, and has all the potential to become an amazing family member for someone who understands that progress comes in small, beautiful steps.

If you’re looking for a tender soul to nurture and celebrate as she grows, Rosa may be the perfect match.

* Would do best in a home with no small children

** Rosa is partially blind - how much we do not really know though she may be able to see some things like large objects. She is still able to walk around freely, but she may walk into things.

Ginger-Adoped

Ginger Est DOB 3-25-2024 Female Doxy Mix

Ginger is a friendly little sweetheart who loves to play and snuggle in equal measure. She gets along great with dogs her own size and brings a fun, happy energy to every moment. We’re not sure how she feels about cats yet, but she’s definitely open to making new friends.

She’s also a tough girl with a big heart — Ginger previously tested positive for heartworms, but she’s completed her treatment successfully and is feeling great.

If you’re looking for a loving companion who’s as cuddly as she is playful, Ginger might just be your perfect match.

Jasper

Jasper Est DOB: 10/22/2024 Male Chihuahua

🐾 Jasper – Young • Playful • Cuddly • Big Personality in a Small Package

Meet Jasper, an adorable young Chihuahua mix with a whole lot of heart. He’s active, playful, and loves to cuddle once he knows you’re part of his circle. Like many Chihuahuas, Jasper can be shy and a little nippy at first meeting, but he rebounds quickly—especially if you come prepared with soft, high‑value treats. Win his trust, and you’ll have a loyal little shadow.

Jasper enjoys the company of other dogs, and he’s happy to romp and play with friends his size. We’re not sure how he feels about cats yet.

If you’re looking for a fun, affectionate companion who just needs a gentle introduction and a few tasty snacks to feel safe, Jasper might be your perfect match.

Meet Addy! Addy is a senior Beagle mix with a smile that can brighten any room. She’s the definition of sweet—affectionate, cuddly, and always ready to lift your spirits with her playful nature. She gets along well with other dogs and would be a joyful addition to a home with canine companions. We’re not sure how she feels about cats yet, but with her gentle nature, she’s sure to win hearts wherever she goes.

Addy is looking for a family who will cherish her loving personality and give her the cozy, caring home she deserves.

Medical Alert: During routine vetting, Addy was found to be heartworm positive and diagnosed with a grade 5 out of 6 heart murmur, along with a dental infection. She is currently receiving medications to manage each of these conditions and is being closely monitored to ensure she continues to feel her best.

She also has an enlarged heart, as well as a heart murmur. But to meet her, you would not know it. She is still very active and playful.
