Meet Bug, an adorable 4‑year‑old Poodle mix who weighs less than 5 lbs but has a heart big enough to fill a whole home. Bug came from a commercial breeder, so the world is still a very new and overwhelming place for him. He’s shy, cautious, and taking everything one small step at a time — but he’s also incredibly sweet, gentle, and willing to trust.
Despite being scared, Bug has never tried to bite, even when he’s unsure. He’ll let you pick him up, hold him close, and reassure him that he’s safe. With patience and kindness, he blossoms.
Bug would thrive in a calm home with another friendly dog who can show him the ropes and help him learn that life can be soft, predictable, and full of good things. He’s great with other dogs, and while we’re not sure about cats, his gentle nature suggests he may adjust with proper introductions.
Because he’s so tiny and timid, Bug would do best in a home without young children.
