🌸 Dahlia — A Gentle Soul Learning to Bloom
Meet Dahlia, a beautiful 2‑year‑old Havanese/Poodle mix weighing about 10–12 lbs. She was rescued from a commercial breeder, so the world is still a very big, very unfamiliar place to her. Dahlia is shy and easily overwhelmed, but beneath that fear is an incredibly sweet, gentle girl who wants to trust.
Even when she’s scared, Dahlia has never tried to bite. She’ll let you pick her up, hold her close, and reassure her that she’s safe. With patience, kindness, and a predictable routine, she will continue to blossom.
Dahlia would do best in a calm home with another friendly dog who can help her learn that life isn’t so scary after all. She’s great with other dogs, and while we’re not sure about cats, her soft temperament suggests she may adjust with slow introductions.
Because she’s timid and sensitive, Dahlia would thrive in a home without young children.
