Jujube and her mom Kiwi were taken from a terrible home. They are quite bonded so they will need to be adopted together. Jujube is shy but trust her mom so if you can gain mom’s trust.. Kiwi and her daughter Jujube were taken from a terrible home. They are quite bonded so they will need to be adopted together. Kiwi is a little shy but comes around quickly especially for treats. She is good with other dogs (don’t know about cats) loves belly rubs and loves attention.

This is Jack, a young Black lab type dog. he is super fun and playful, likes other dogs and knows some tricks for treats too. If he see's the treat he will sit and try to give you his paw. Here he is doing exactly that. lol
I think he is about a year or two old.

Austin is a handsome and affectionate boy. He has been sweet with everyone he has met. Sometimes he may be a little shy at first but that comes from his horrible past in a hoarding situation and he quickly comes around especially when treats are involved. Because of his past where he had to compete for any type of attention.. he chooses to be an only dog. He wants all of the hugs and attention to be all his. He is well mannered and loves to play. Douglas is a very sweet boy. He loves people but picky about other dogs. He is a very big boy, currently at 75 lbs. A lot of dogs are scared of him because of his size so they act out which makes him weary of them. He is a big cuddly boy and also loves to play. He will be such an amazing new family member for the right family.

Meet David Copperfield – the most laid back dog.  He is gentle and well-manned, does well with other dogs, (not sure about cats) but  I don’t believe this amazing pup was ever shown how to have fun.  He walks nice on a leash, has been so pleasant with everyone he has met - but he does not respond to toys, running after a ball or getting into a pool.  Now this doesn’t mean he won’t once someone shows him the joys of such things, which we are currently working on.  He is  food motived and he did just enjoy his first Cheeseburger Day at the sanctuary (it was probably his first cheeseburger ).  The lucky family to fall in love with this adorable boy will get to witness this pup evolving into an ever-fun loving pup.  Come meet David Copperfield and you will fall in love.

Mutt Damon is what we believe to be many different breeds so we are just calling him a Mix. He is good with other dogs and kids. He is sweet, fun-loving, well mannered and loves to chase the ball, He is still very young so he is active and needs play time each day.

Doug is one of the sweetest dogs, he is well manned and loves people. He is a tad bit shy at first but is so loving once he knows that he can trust you. He lived with many dogs in his previous home (multiple Jack Russells) but we believe the other dogs picked on him so he is scared of other dogs. We think that with a patient and caring dog that he would blossom and be a wonderful friend for them or that he would be just as happy being an only dog.

Luke is an amazing boy. He is adorably sweet, he will belly crawl up to everyone he meets and then find his way into your lap for cuddles. He is active and does like to play, he will chase a ball (bringing it back might be a challenge) and he loves to pose for pictures. He is good with other dogs, (not sure about cats), weighs about 22 lbs. and would be an amazing addition to almost any family.

Diamond is a beautiful Blue Pitt Mix Pup. She is very friendly and sweet. She is good with other dogs (we do not know about cats) though she is a little scared at first until she knows if they are nice or not, then she is all play. She would be a wonderful addition with just about any family.

Charlie is a handsome and very sweet boy. He has loved everyone he has met. He is crate trained, does well with other dogs but we do not know about cats. This boy will be a fantastic addition to any family.

Benji - Adopted

Benji is a 50/25/25 mix of Shih Tzu, Border Collie, and Australian Cattledog. He weighs about 45 pounds and is roughly almost 10 years old, his estimated "birthday" on 2/24/13. While his early life is somewhat of a mystery, Benji is quite a unique-looking dog with plenty of energy, character, and always the willingness to perform a trick for a treat! He is quite playful, but he also loves to snuggle on the couch for a movie. Benji currently lives with young children who have been coached on proper etiquette with how to interact with dogs, and he plays well with them. He also plays with several dogs his size in the neighborhood without issue. Benji would do well in any yard that has space to run freely and does respect boundaries.

The breed Isabella Dachshund is sometimes called the Fawn Dachshund. It is normal for their hair to fall out in late puppyhood or young adulthood and stay completely bald . Tp find more , we encourage you to go and research this specific breed.

Izzy is sweet, beautiful girl. She is active (for a Doxy) very attentive when you call her and She will be an amazing addition to families familiar to the breed.

Max and Mia are wonderful loving dogs who lost their home due to a Divorce. Both are very friendly and are bonded so it would be best for them to be adopted together. They are house broken and good with other dogs but don’t know how they are with Cats.
