Whiskers is an 8-year-old, 15 lb mix-breed female who entered our care after her owner’s eviction displaced her and her doggie companions. Though she can be a little shy at first as she assesses a new environment, she quickly warms up and reveals her friendly, sweet nature.

She gets along well with other dogs of her size and enjoys gentle play and companionship. Wiskers thrives in a calm, patient home where a steady routine, gentle encouragement, and quiet cuddles help her build confidence at her own pace. Doug is one of the sweetest dogs, he is well manned and loves people. He is a tad bit shy at first but is so loving once he knows that he can trust you. He lived with many dogs in his previous home (multiple Jack Russells) but we believe the other dogs picked on him so he is scared of other dogs. We think that with a patient and caring dog that he would blossom and be a wonderful friend for them or that he would be just as happy being an only dog.
