Potter DOB 12/16/2014 Male Shih Tzu / Poodle

Potter is an adorable boy. He was adopted as a puppy and as things sometimes happen.. small problems that were not corrected early when they first appeared, grew into bigger problems.. He did bite a child so he cannot go to a home with children younger than 15. We have not had any issues with him here since his return. Other than that he is an amazing boy… he loves to cuddle, will chase a ball, gets along with other dogs and is just a wonderful boy.

Cindy is a very sweet girl… She is a little reserved and shy at first which can be typical of Aussie behavior with strangers but once she knows you, she is a total love. For that reason she would be best in a home with no children under the age of 12. She is house broken and loves other dogs. In her previous life she did live with a cat and did well.

Veronica is a very sweet girl.. She is shy at first so she may not do well in a home with small children. She likes other dogs mature and well mannered like herself… She is crate trained and takes treats very gently. She would be an awesome dog for someone who would enjoy company for quiet walks, cooking tasting and watching late night movies.

Porter - DOB 7/27/2017 Male Pitbull Mix

Porter became a Volunteer favorite very quickly. He is so well manned, walks well on a leash, will run and play with you and just lay in the shade with you and take a nap. He is just an amazing boy. He does ok with other dogs but is really only focused on the humane interaction with anyone that will stop to pet him. He is very neat in his room so he may house trained too..

Jughead - DOB 8/10/2016 - English Bulldog /Pitbull Mix

Jughead is a lot of fun.. He loves people, belly rubs, treats, ice cream and taking long naps. He is not very tall, a little over knee high. He is doing very well at crate training and takes treats very gently. He does alright with other dogs until treats come out or when the other dog is getting attention. So, he would do best in a home with no other dogs. We are not sure about cats.

JuJu DOB - 8/6/2019 - female Whippet/Lab mix.

JuJu is medium size, about 35-40 lbs, small frame. Is a little shy at first but warms up very quickly, especially with kids. She loves to chase the ball, sometimes will even bring the ball back to you… or just entertain you with watching her play and kick the ball around by herself. She is very sweet, does well with other dogs, is doing well with crate training and just a lot of fun. She will be a fun addition to any family.

She would prefer dogs around her to not be hyper as it tends to scare her. She knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. Dottie - Female Great Pyrenees/Great Dane Mix, DOB 11/4/2014. Dottie is a very sweet, quiet soul, she is shy, loud noises or fast movements make her scared so she will not do well in a home with children younger than 16, but with adults in a calm environment she is an amazing girl. She is not fond of other dogs, she would prefer to have all of the attention for herself. In the right home.. this girl would quickly become your very best friend.

Milo, Male Corgi/Hound Mix, DOB - 7/22/2018
Milo is a sweet, active boy, is approximately 50 lbs. He loves, loves, loves the tennis ball and does well with some dogs, but may be too active for senior or small dogs. His body is the size of a hound but his butt (tail and mini skirt) definitely look Corgi… He would be an excellent candidate for a DNA test.

Marty is a male Pomeranian DOB 10-10-2013. Marty is a handsome boy but does not do well with kids. A home with no children under the age of 18 would be best. He has been very sweet to the staff and Volunteers and is house trained. He is also on daily medication for his thyroid. He enjoys walks, car rides, snow, and will jump in the shower if the water is running. He does not mind cats and is good with other dogs.
