Phyllis Diller – Est Dob 11/9/2019 female Terrier Mix
Phyllis is a sweet and medium energy girl. She is reactive to dogs at first by barking at them but when corrected does fine.. She was probably not socialized properly when she was young. She is great with people and will ask for attention. She is crate trained and will probably do very well with housetraining. We do not know how she will do with cats.

Remi is a fun loving, affectionate girl but she does not like to share her people or possessions so she would prefer to be an only dog. She is a senior girl but has no current health issues. So many senior dogs are abandoned at Animal Control facilities just because they are old… Remi is a great dog and would just like a little bed in someone’s loving home and someone to share kisses and hugs with.

Lucy and Sugar are an adorable Duo. They are bonded so they must be adopted together. They are shy at first (so they would need a home with no small children) but come out of their shells rather quickly and are very affectionate. Sugar loves to carry a stuffed toy around and Lucy loves to be carried. They would be such an amazing addition for the right family.
Izzy DOB 8/4/2016 Female Isabella Dachshund
The breed Isabella Dachshund is sometimes called the Fawn Dachshund. It is normal for their hair to fall out in late puppyhood or young adulthood and stay completely bald . Tp find more , we encourage you to go and research this specific breed.

He did have an old eye injury which has since healed and does not seem to bother him but he has limited vision in that eye. He is good with other dogs, not house trained but has a good beginning with crate training. He would be a wonderful addition to most families.

Meet Buster a 9 year old Shih Tzu who is blind. He is super social and loves everyone he meets. A few years ago he had his eyes removed due to glaucoma.
His owner recently found that she was terminal and asked if we would take him in and find him a loving home.
He has been very well cared for, always current on vaccines, heart worm prevention and groomed.
His new people need to understand that at first he will need help to the door because he can't see it on his own until he gets familiar with his environment and learns where the door is by scent.
Feeding him on a schedule and letting him out on a schedule will be the easiest way to help him adjust.
Meet Toto DOB 4/16/2016 Brussels Griffon mix male. He is very social and friendly. His owner is terminal and has asked us to take him in and find him a new home.
He is house trained, good with other dogs, kids and he knows how to smile.
We are accepting applications for him now too but know he does have a potential adopter already, just have to see how he does on the trial first.
Lucy DOB: 3/18/2007 female Rat Terrier / Dachshund Mix.
Lucy was adopted for over 9 years but her mommy passed away and now Lucy needs to find a new home.. Lucy does not know how old she is and is still quite active and healthy. Hope is committed to all of our dogs for life so when she found herself homeless again.. Hope stepped up to bring her home.
Her birthday is coming up on 3/18.... Wouldn't it be wonderful if she had a home and a family to celebrate with ?

Daphney is approximately 10 lbs, is friendly, playful and good with other dogs that are around her size. She does not like large dogs but that is typical of a small dog. She would be a fun addition to most active families.

Baby was kept as a hunting dog all of her life so she stayed in an outside kennel. But her owner got too old and the family decided to surrender her to Hope Rescues to find her a good home.
