Iggy - 1 yr old male chihuahua.Isaac - Like many chihuahuas, Iggy is a little shy at first.. but after just a few minutes of attention he becomes very friendly. Because of his shyness, a home with older children (12+) would be best. he does great with other dog too.

Ace - 1 year old Treeing Walker Coonhound (Giant Beagle). Ace goes to doggie daycare every single day and is a very sweet guy. he is house trained and well mannered. he loves car rides and belly rubs. I mean come on look at that face?
Grady is an 8 month old Tri color Beagle boy whose life was saved from animal control.
he is SUPER friendly and has not met a stranger he didn't already love.
3 year old Rat terrier mix male. Sweet as can be. Needs a fenced yard. House trained. 18 lbs. Good with other dogs.
Hearsay - 1yr old Border Collie/Aus. Shepherd Mix. This boy is handsome, sweet and a lot of fun.. He is very active and playful
Airhead is a 8 year old Male Lab/Hound Mix. He is very friendly and good with other dogs. Very playful but would also enjoy snuggle time.
Sheldon is an 8 yr old male Border Collie/Lab Mix. Hope received a call from Animal Control regarding a dog that they had just picked up who had been hit by a car and needed immediate medical care. Hope responded and rushed Sheldon to a Specialty care hospital in St. Louis where he received the very best of care… Sheldon’s previous owner was never found so now he is looking for a Forever Family to call his very own. He is ok with other dogs but has not engaged in play or rough-housing. He prefers to sit back and just enjoy the scenery.
Cash is a 7 year old Poodle/Shih Tzu mix male. he weighs all of 8 lbs and is actually chocolate in color though this picture doesn't show that very well. he attends doggie daycare everyday and does very well with other animals. He is house trained and walks well on leash. he is the perfect little lap dog.
George - 2 year old 12" Beagle male. Shy but sweet, a little bit of a runner so a home with a fence is desired and maybe a dog friend to keep him company. He loves other dogs and all people.
He is an 8 yr old male West Highland Terrier. He is very sweet and will make a wonderful addition to a lucky family.
Pepper - 1.5 year old Blue Tick Beagle male. very friendly, likes other dogs and loves kids too.
Doctor (Doc) 1.5 year old Blue Tick Beagle male. great with other dogs, loves kids and is very friendly.
Scout - 1.5 year old Lab/Pointer mix male. Very good boy, active, house trained and about 75 lbs.
Jack Sparrow - 1 year old Chihuahua mix male. SUPER good with other dogs, NOT good with kids, Missing one eye, House trained, Loves to be carried.
Reno and Cooper - born 8-14-17. Brother Beagles.
These boys were saved from animal control after being allowed to run at large almost all their life. Reno is shy and does have a bite on his record because when someone was trying to rescue him they trapped him in a corner and he nipped them. he has not shown any aggressive traits with us and enjoys very much the company of other dogs, Cooper is more out going and helps Reno with that. We would like to see them go home together, but know that is a tough goal. If you love Beagles these two will melt your heart. They are really both nice and love being petted and getting belly rubs.
Meet Fit Bit, our newest rescue from Alton Animal Control.
He was picked up running at large and no owner ever came for him. We think he is a Yorkie/Chihuahua mix, he is about 2 years old and friendly as all get out!
Seriously super adorable, he may weigh all of 4 lbs.
He has long hair but due to matting it was shaved.
He is White/Brown and silver on his back.
