Mufasa - Est. DOB 12/22/2020 Male, American Staffordshire Terrier

Mufasa is a handsome boy, weighing in at 77 lbs. He is strong but very loving. He seems to be good with most dogs, he loves people, he ignored the Foster’s cat but was not great with chickens… so no home with chickens. He loves to carry stuff animals around and will play fetch with the ball. Oh, and he loves water.. he will chase the water from a hose. This boy would be an awesome fit for most families.

Gilligan is a very sweet and playful pup. He loves to chase a ball - hasn’t quite got the idea yet of bringing it back to you. He loves water and will get in a kiddie pool and splash around. He is good with everyone he meets and he likes other dogs as well. He will be an awesome addition to most families.

Roxy is a very sweet senior girl. She was returned because she was nipping at the children but we have not been able to replicate the same results. She loves chasing the tennis balls and snuggling with people. She was an only dog her whole life and we have found that she is not fond of other dogs now because of it. She does not have any known health issues at this time.

Roxy is a sweet girl who would love a family to call her own for what ever time she may have left, which at her current activity level and health could be as much as 3-5 yrs.

Meet Olivia - She has a very sweet personality. She is little shy at first but warms up quickly. She likes people and other dogs (not sure about cats). She is currently working on her manners and walking on a leash. She is a typical Lab with her fun-loving, playful and energetic demeanor.

Goober is an adorable active pup. He listens well to corrections and is friendly to everyone. He is working on manners and is doing well with Crate training. He will need an active family and since he is a puppy, basic training classes would be helpful.

Sadie is an active, adorable, friendly Heeler Mix . She is medium size - probably around 40 lbs. She is very friendly, sweet, good with other dogs and loves to play. She will need a home with a fence (visible or invisible) so she can get exercise and lots of play time. She will be a great addition to just about any family.

Odie DOB: 2/12/2016 Boxer mix male.

Odie is as cuddly as he looks and is really sweet. He gets along with some other dogs, has good manners and would be an amazing pet for most families. He is Heartworm positive, but Hope Rescues manages and pays for the heartworm treatment through our vet until he is Heartworm negative.

JJ DOB: 9/20/2013 Hound Mix.

JJ is friendly but shy of some situations, he never becomes aggressive, he just cowards in new situations. He was probably not socialized well as a pup. He is good with some dogs, and prefers dog who are not high energy but more relaxed. Because of his insecurities of some situations, JJ would do best in a home with no small children.
