Odie is as cuddly as he looks and is really sweet. He gets along with some other dogs, has good manners and would be an amazing pet for most families. He is Heartworm positive, but Hope Rescues manages and pays for the heartworm treatment through our vet until he is Heartworm negative.

JJ DOB: 9/20/2013 Hound Mix.

JJ is friendly but shy of some situations, he never becomes aggressive, he just cowards in new situations. He was probably not socialized well as a pup. He is good with some dogs, and prefers dog who are not high energy but more relaxed. Because of his insecurities of some situations, JJ would do best in a home with no small children.

Cindy is a very sweet girl… She is a little reserved and shy at first which can be typical of Aussie behavior with strangers but once she knows you, she is a total love. For that reason she would be best in a home with no children under the age of 12. She is house broken and loves other dogs. In her previous life she did live with a cat and did well.

She likes other dogs mature and well mannered like herself… She is crate trained and takes treats very gently. Porter became a Volunteer favorite very quickly. He is so well manned, walks well on a leash, will run and play with you and just lay in the shade with you and take a nap. He is just an amazing boy. He does ok with other dogs but is really only focused on the humane interaction with anyone that will stop to pet him. He is very neat in his room so he may house trained too..

Butterbean, DOB 12/24/2017, Female Lab Mix: Butterbean is a sweet, friendly lab mix, she is playful but not overly energetic. She would prefer dogs around her to not be hyper as it tends to scare her. She knows some basic commands and walks well on a leash. She would be an amazing additional to almost any family looking for a new companion.

Dottie is a very sweet, quiet soul, she is shy, loud noises or fast movements make her scared so she will not do well in a home with children younger than 16, but with adults in a calm environment she is an amazing girl. She is not fond of other dogs, she would prefer to have all of the attention for herself. In the right home.. this girl would quickly become your very best friend.

Milo, Male Corgi/Hound Mix, DOB - 7/22/2018
Milo is a sweet, active boy, is approximately 50 lbs. He loves, loves, loves the tennis ball and does well with some dogs, but may be too active for senior or small dogs. His body is the size of a hound but his butt (tail and mini skirt) definitely look Corgi… He would be an excellent candidate for a DNA test.
