Anna is a 4 year old Terrier mix female or Golden Doodle we are not sure.
She likes other dogs though she is bossy, She is shy around new people so it would be best for a home with no small children and she loves water so she would like a home with at least a kiddie pool.
Scruffy is a 6 year old Giant Schnauzer mix (we think). He is very active and loves the pool and tennis balls.. Because of his activity level, he annoys most dogs so he would do best as the only dog. He is very sweet and friendly too.
Arrow, a 5 year old German Shepherd male. He is a BIG boy but oh so gentle with people. He has lots of energy & needs to be reminded once in awhile to mind his manners but he tries very hard to be a good boy
(Arrow may not live in the city of Alton because his owners let him run at large and he killed a 4 lb Yorkie. We still do not know if he meant to as the dog had no bite marks but it is what it is)
He will need to be an only dog and he will only be allowed to go home with an experienced dog handler. He cannot ever be allowed to roam at large again.
Malu is a beautiful 4 year old Blue Pitt Mix. She was left behind when her family moved and came in malnourished, hairless and covered in skin sores from lack of care. She is a very pretty and healthy girl now and she LOVES people, LOVES them all. But due to lack of socialization as a puppy she does not do well with other dogs or cats. She would love to have all the attention she can get, belly rubs, walks, car rides, you name it as long as she is with her person she is happy.

Honey - 3 year old female Pitt Mix - Very friendly to everyone of all ages. Good with other dogs. She came to us very pregnant but all of her puppies have been adopted.. Now it is Honey's turn.
Rosco - 8 mos old Black Lab mix male. Has never met a stranger, loves everyone. Great with other dogs and chidlren too.
Mo - 8 year old Lab mix male. VERY nice boy who gets along with everyone. House trained and crate trained.
Tucker - 5 year old Plotthound mix male. Super chill and very sweet. House trained, crate trained and well mannered.
Pizzaro is such a good boy! He's definitely a cuddler, loves peanut butter kongs, and does great in his kennel at night and while we are at work! If you're looking for a young furkid who loves people and dogs, Pizzaro may be your guy! Plus, look at those ears!
Holly is a plump and very sweet Shepherd mix girl who will be turning 7 very soon, She was rescued from animal control very pregnant. Within 24 hours of being rescued, Holly gave birth to 6 beautiful puppies, all of which who have been adopted. Now it is Holly’s turn to have a forever home. She has no known health ailments, is friendly to other dogs and will even play a little or she is just as happy relaxing, watching TV with you and getting an occasional belly rub. She is quiet, well-mannered, walks very well on a leash and loves to play fetch with a ball. Her birthday is coming up on 2/2, lets help her get the best Birthday gift ever – a loving home.. Sunny - 14 year old Lab male. Great dog in good health. friendly with other animals, house trained, ready for a Christmas miracle.
Sasha is a beautiful 3 year old Blue American Staffordshire Terrier. She is very sweet and friendly with everyone she meets. She likes smaller dogs like male beagles but would not be good with dogs larger than her.
