Jessie

Jesse is a 8 year old Boxer mix female. She is gentle, sweet, walks well on her leash, is house trained, and loves ALL people. But Jesse would be best as an only dog. She likes car rides and belly rubs, going for a run or laying next to you while you watch TV. Jesse was rescued on her last day of life at animal control.

Jessie's Sponsor are Roy & Sandra Edwards and Kathy Deppe

Carmen - Adoption Pending

Carmen is a 4 year old female Chihuahua.  She is very tiny, probably 6 pounds soaking wet, but she is also very shy.  Because of her shyness, she would do best in a home without small children. She is sweet, likes other small pets, friendly to those she knows, and loves being held and carried around.

Addie II - Adoption Pending

Addie. is a ray of sunshine, it seems she's always trying to make you laugh. She makes you feel so loved, she adores every second she gets to hangout beside you!

This girl loves to play. I have yet to find a toy she doesn't love. She has proven she is a quick learner as well. She would do best with a submissive male dog.  Not sure about cats.

Lilly 2

This love of a dog is Lily. She is 13. Her family left her tied to a pole when they no longer wanted her.
She needs special food because of her failing kidneys. We don't know if she has 6 months or 3 years left but we KNOW she deserves to live it.
Sometimes she has a little piddle accident, not often though. Heck at over 50 sometimes if I laugh too hard I could have a little piddle accident too, so I can't fault her for one. ????.
She is wonderful with other dogs though she will try to steal their dinner so you have to watch her.
She is quiet, easy going and very sweet.
At some point she was hit by a car or had some other type of injury to her back legs, so they are not as strong as they should be.
She weighs maybe 20 lbs.
She is ok here in our home with our dogs but we would love it if someone would give her a home with their family. We have a large pack and would like her to have all the attention she deserves in her golden years.

Lexi

Lexi was saved in the floods of Louisiana this past summer. She is a 2 year old American Staffordshire Terrier/Lab mix female. Lexi is house trained, loves car rides, water, fetching and snuggling with her peeps. She is not good with other dogs (just rude not aggressive) She hopes to find an active family to take her places and spend time with.

Rilee - Adoption Pending

Rilee is a 6 year old Mountain Cur female. She is a little shy in social situations only because she has not had very much experience with them. Nothing a little social skills will not correct.

She is house trained, she does well with most dogs, especially males or females that will listen to her.  She is very active, loves water and is an awesome girl.  She weighs 57 lbs.

Patsy II

Patsy is a super sweet 8 year old mix breed dog. She is adorable in person, seems to be okay with other dogs but do best in a home with no other dogs. She loves kids and adults, is house trained and always has a smile to show off. She is the perfect age, past the chewing stage, past the chasing stage, past the ADHD stage and really listens well. Patsy weighs 72 lbs. She would do best with a dog with the same light activity nature.

Echo

Meet Lil Miss Echo! a super sweet pittie that came to Hope Rescues via Alton Animal Control. Echo is a soft caramel color with some white markings, and weighs about 35-40 lbs. She came to Hope Rescues just after having her puppies, so she was very confused and frightened. Echo is believed to be approximately 7 years old. She is such a good girl and never dirties her room and she also know some commands. When she arrived at Hope, it was obvious that at one time she had been someone's special girl, as she had evidence of gold nail polish on her toenails. Echo loves to play ball and give kisses, and with her sweet smile and her lil' cocked ear, she'll win your heart before you know it! How she ended up being alone, is anyone's guess, but, all she wants now is to have a forever home and lots of lovin'... and maybe, just maybe, to have her toe nails painted once again~Echo would prefer to be the only dog in the home.

Chloe- Adoption Pending

Chloe DOB 11/23/2010 Female, American Staffordshire Terrier

Chloe is an amazing girl.. She is big, approximately 70 lbs , she likes walks on nature trails, belly rubs and playing tug of war. She will need a strong family with no small children - not because she is aggressive but because she is so large and so strong. She walks well on a leash, loves people but would best be suited to be the only pet.
