Reno and Cooper - Adoption Pending

Reno and Cooper.jpg

Reno and Cooper - born 8-14-17. Brother Beagles.
These boys were saved from animal control after being allowed to run at large almost all their life. Reno is shy and does have a bite on his record because when someone was trying to rescue him they trapped him in a corner and he nipped them. he has not shown any aggressive traits with us and enjoys very much the company of other dogs, Cooper is more out going and helps Reno with that. We would like to see them go home together, but know that is a tough goal. If you love Beagles these two will melt your heart. They are really both nice and love being petted and getting belly rubs.

Hayes - Adopted

hayes3.jpg

Hayes - 5 year old American Eskimoo male. Hayes weighs 21 lbs. I love this dog! He is perfectly house trained, NEVER has an accident. He does okay with other dogs as long as they are not crazy hyper in your face dogs. Hayes has one flaw and one flaw only and that is he is timid with hand motions. This only last for a short time but he absolutely cannot go home with any children at all! he would do best in a home with structure and routine's as he has a little OCD himself. Likes his bed kept neat, his fur kept clean and his food tidy in his bowl. lol
He is very affectionate with his humans...But again terrified of hand movements and quick approaching things like kids.

Annie - Adopted

Meet Annie a 1 year old female Beagle rescued from Madison County Animal Control today..Thank you Tammy Hogue for being her taxi driver.
She was there as a bite case because during some fireworks some kids chased her or cornered her and she bit one of them...Poor thing had to be terrified.
Anyway because of that no small children...
She is super friendly even with strangers, house trained and on the small side for a Beagle.

Lucianna - Adoption Pending

Lucianna (Luci for short) Paloma - 11 month old Terrier female about 10 lbs. This adorable little character was a street dog in Mexico until she was rescued by a Hope volunteer.
She is very active and very affectionate.
She is rude in play with other dogs, though she thinks that is how you play so her manners will need some work. She does not share her food well with other dogs as well. Probably from living on the street.
She is great with children and all other people.

Neville - Adoption Pending

This little guy is now available for adoption.
His name is Neville and he is 4 years old. He is a Bassett/Beagle mix male or a Bagle if you prefer.
He would do best in a home with out small children but those over 12 are okay.
Neville is excellent with other dogs and attends a local doggie daycare every day where he has many buddie's.
He is house trained, walks well on leash and seems to be fairly quiet for a Bagle.
He weighs 21 lbs. and is in good health.
ALL he needs is a nice family to love and take him home.

Sadie

Meet our newest rescue, Sadie Mae. She is a 3 1/2 year old Wire Haired Jack Russell female.
She is active, loving and good with other animals and children.
She is in bed by 9pm and up ready to face the day at 6:30am.
She enjoys chasing birds in the yard and cleaning up dropped food from the floor.
She is available for adoption now.

Peggy Sue - Adoption Pending

Peggy Sue is a 7 year old Beagle who had a tumor above her eye that we have taken care of. Not cancerous just a fatty type tumor.
Peggy Sue has never ever actually lived ina home before as she was used for hunting and discarded when she was no longer needed.
She is great with other dogs and loves all people. VERY sweet dog.

Betsy - Adoption Pending

Betsy the Beagle is 3 years old and has never lived in an actual house before. She was used for hunting and dumped when she did not do a good job.
She loves other dogs and loves people. NOT a mean bone in her little body.
She is shy but oh so sweet. For sure in the right home this girl will make the perfect little friend.
