Clayton

Clayton DOB 10/31/2010 Male Boxer Mix

Clayton was the only survivor of a litter of puppies who were rescued from Union County Animal Control along with their mommy. Clayton has a neurological issue that prevents him from running like a normal dog. He is also partially blind in one eye. He is ok with most dogs, (no tiny or hyper-active dogs or cats) but is not a player, he has a wonderful nature with people even with this disability.  Because of this limited vision, he would do best with a home without small children and a single level home.. (no steps) He will get to live a long happy life as his issue will not affect his years on this earth, just his ability to run like a normal dog. Please give this amazing survivor a place to call forever.

Titan

Titan DOB 4/6/2016 male Pitt/Boxer Mix.

Hi, I'm Titan! I was approx born in April of 2016 and the sweetest Boxer/Pitt Mix ever! I am an active boy and LOVE other dogs, but also respect dog's and cat's space if they do not want to be bothered. I still can't figure out why that cat told me to get back; who wouldn't want lovin's from me?! Cats are so weird! My favorite thing to do is be told I'm the goodest sweetest boy, to make your family happy, give you loads of kisses, play with toys, and get scratches (especially the sides of my neck,) until I sprawl out on the floor for a nap. Sometimes I get so excited that my teeth will get you because I forget I'm not suppose to do that; but as soon as you tell me "no," and sometimes before you even say it, I remember and feel so bad that I give you the most pitiful puppy dog eyes. Someone who can be asurtive and not a push-over makes me happiest. Although I LOVE all the volunteers here, I've been told I'm a big scardy cat when strangers come in my house to pet me before I'm comfortable with them. If you give me a couple days to realize that you just want to give me lovin's, you will forever be the center of my life! Because of this, a home with adults and older children would be best for me. I also love the bathtub, lounging in the kiddie pool, and trying to catch bubbles and the water from the hose. The people here think it's so funny when I go to the play yard and carry my own leash around. You carry my leash, I'm not sure why they start laughing when I do it?! Oh! Can I brag for a second? I've learned "sit," "down," "wait," "give me kisses," "no kisses," "get in your crate," "leave it," "paw," and "let's go outside" (this one is my favorite!) I do like it here, but I want a family of my own to love. Will you let me show you how good of a boy I can be?

Harrison

Harrison DOB - 1/6/2015 American Staffordshire Terrier

Harrison was confiscated by police in a horrible abuse case and was later transferred to Hope for Rehabilitation. Because of his previous life, Harrison is afraid of teenage and adult males. In time though, he has bonded with male Volunteers who took time to allow him to slowly gain his trust. He does get along great with most dogs but will need to be the only dog in the home as he does not want to share his persons, he is well mannered and loves to snuggle. He is house trained and sweet but no cats please.

Mork

Mork DOB 10/28/2013 Pit Bull mix male. Someone chopped his ears off to make him look tough but trust us he is a love bug. He is large sized and active so he would not do well with small children. He is very sweet, takes a treat gently but still has a lot of puppy in him and needs structure and leadership.

Mork is a goofy, sweet young boy
