Ryder - 4 year old Husky/ Shepherd mix female. House trained, friendly with most other dogs and very pretty...being a Husky type we hope to find her a home with someone that knows and understand this breed. They can be tricky on you because they are so darn smart. If you are an active person, she is right up your alley. She also likes to chill and snuggle at the end of the day. super sweet
London is a 4 yr old Am. Staff mix female. She was one of 10 confiscated during an extreme abuse case. She has separation anxiety and does not do well with other pets. She is very loving to people and was just a victim of a bad owner.
Her favorite things include long walks through the woods, tasty chew toys, peanut butter kongs and soft chewy treats.
Some dogs show us who they are right off the bat and some wait a couple weeks...lol
Beth (mighty mouse) is NOT good with other dogs. She can be in small doses but would definitely do better as the only dog in the home.
She is an English Bulldog/PitBull Terrier mix according to our vet. So she has two bully breeds in there and she is stubborn as heck (keeping it clean for this post). About 2 to 3 years old.
She weighs about 35 lbs and is VERY short.
She LOVES people and couches and beds and car rides and food...But no other dogs in the home.
If you are looking to have just one dog, she is perfect.
Apple is still waiting for her forever family (needs to be the only pet and no small children please). She is house trained, very laid back and loving. Would be awesome in a home with older kids (teenages).
- She LOVES people
- She's potty trained
- Is good in her crate while her humans are at work
- Total couch potato (most of the time), but is also down for an adventurous walk
- Walks pretty well on a leash
- Has the best pitty smile you've ever seen
- Is an independent lady, but also loves cuddling
- Always greets you with a wiggle
- Is the perfect client at the groomers and enjoys going (also calm and collected at the vet's office!)
- She needs to be the only pet to soak up all of the love and attention and no small children please.
We love her so much, and know she could make the right family so happy. If you're interested or know someone who is interested please fill out an application at hoperescues.com.

Alaska is a beautiful 4 year old Pitt/Husky mix. She is very active, good with other dogs, loves to play and would need an active family. She is a little shy and would do best in a home with no small children.
Malu is a beautiful 4 year old Blue Pitt Mix. She was left behind when her family moved and came in malnourished, hairless and covered in skin sores from lack of care. She is a very pretty and healthy girl now and she LOVES people, LOVES them all. But due to lack of socialization as a puppy she does not do well with other dogs or cats. She would love to have all the attention she can get, belly rubs, walks, car rides, you name it as long as she is with her person she is happy.

Paisley - 6 year old Greyhound mix female. She has a VERY high prey drive so she will need a home with no other pets. She is great all people. She is a fence climber so she would do best in a home with an invisible fence,a family who loves to run or will utilize a doggie daycare.
Sasha is a beautiful 3 year old Blue American Staffordshire Terrier. She is very sweet and friendly with everyone she meets. She likes smaller dogs like male beagles but would not be good with dogs larger than her.
Sprite is a 2 yr old Pitt/Boxer Mix. She is very friendly and playful. She is only around 45lbs and still considers herself to be a lap puppy. She is a joy to have around. She is a little shy so she might be best with older children only. She loves to play with other active dogs but would be too much for other dogs that are less active.
Jesse is a 8 year old Boxer mix female. She is gentle, sweet, walks well on her leash, is house trained, and loves ALL people. But Jesse would be best as an only dog. She likes car rides and belly rubs, going for a run or laying next to you while you watch TV. Jesse was rescued on her last day of life at animal control.
Addie. is a ray of sunshine, it seems she's always trying to make you laugh. She makes you feel so loved, she adores every second she gets to hangout beside you!
This girl loves to play. I have yet to find a toy she doesn't love. She has proven she is a quick learner as well. She would do best with a submissive male dog. Not sure about cats.
Cheyenne - 3 year old Min Pin mix female. Good with other dogs and house trained. But she had no socialization with people before coming to Hope so she is would need a family with no kids, and who had the time to work with us to help her to see the benefits of interaction of a belly rub and a lap to lie on.
Nessa is a 3 year old Pit Bull Terrier female. She is a very active female and will only do well with submissive males.

Junebug is a 8 yr old Boxer Mix. She is friendly with people and learning how to interact with other dogs but would do best in a home with no other dogs. She is well mannered and loves to play fetch and tug-of-war. She would be a great addition to any family. No cats though
Tigress is a 9 year old Blue Healer female. Her owner was admitted into a nursing home that does not allow dogs so now she finds herself homeless. She is blind so she will be scared and reactive for the first couple weeks to get use to her new surroundings but once she is acclimated she is such a sweet girl. She likes belly rubs too,. She has been fine with other dogs, doesn't really play so she would not like a young dog constantly bugging her to chase them. A nice senior female would be perfect for her if she could pick her person out herself that is what she would choose. She is a very good dog and calm easy going girl.
